Ruoyu Wang is a senior research analyst in the custom income strategies
group at Loomis, Sayles & Company. He is responsible for customized portfolio
construction and optimization and using a combination of quantitative and
fundamental methods to help the team with security selection. Ruoyu joined
Loomis Sayles in 2020 from JP Morgan, where he was a quantitative analyst,
creating customized and optimized portfolios for insurance companies and
pension funds, researching style premiums and factors for corporate bonds and
derivatives and developing systematic relative value trade ideas based on signals.
Previously, he was a quantitative analyst at State Street. Ruoyu earned an MS from
Columbia University and a PhD from Duke University.
